Kristin uses barre chords (*gasp*)?

Yes, yes, Kristin uses barre chords along with
most other rock-n-roll musicians that have ever, do
now, or will play. I use barre chords too.
I just live in my stupid world where I get tired
of these bands that are played on the radio, that
don't do anything interesting with guitar. Am I
putting down simple songs. No. I enjoy simple music
as long as it's used to convey an emotion. The
"barre chord" bands could redeem themselves by
singing about something meaningful; however, they
can only be true to one emotion, anger/angst, the
other emotions they pull right out of "How To Write
a Rock Love Song" or "Your Sad Song In 10 Easy Steps". Oh well,
I'm coming off more and more like those idiots that
write in to Guitar magazines putting down modern
music because speed metal and three-hour solos
are out of vogue. I'd better stop now.

In conclusion, have fun. Let the sound run through
your instrument and have music in your soul.
