I've been away for a while because of an acute case of wanderlust. I'm far
from being cured but the pain level is now low enough for me to stay for a
bit, as long as there is good music coming my way. I forgot to turn off the
mail before I left and upon my return I was confronted with hundreds of
messages. all for the best though, because this is how I found out about the
new Mazzy Star album. total surprise for me.
the most frustrating thing about reading tons of old massages is when you
actually find something interesting and wish to reply, you suddenly realize
it's been weeks since the original post and no-one will know what you're
talking about.

something about music now. I need opinions on Raissa. I can't remember the
name of the album but I don't think they have more than one. I heard a few
songs but not enough to form an opinion. I think they might belong on the
new pure-impure list but I'm not sure. will appreciate any opinions.

this world IS my home - how depressing.

I'm wondering what people consider the most depressing/melancholic CDs
by 4AD (or non-4AD) artists...y'see, winter is rolling around and I
need something to sink into besides snow.

Shivering in Canada,
