AS EXTRACTED FROM THE BELLY MAILING LIST...

From: Laura ([email protected])u To: [email protected] Okay, the news doesn't get more factual or recent than this...I just happened to *gulp* run into Tanya and Dean at a Fuzzy concert in Boston...And I asked the all important question, if she is married, and she replied YES!!! Whoo Hoo! And then she introduced me to Dean (as in Fisher of Juliana Hatfield's band) =) So there you have it, and I swear, it came right from Tanya's mouth... As for news about her solo CD, I asked her about that too - go me :) She's going to finish her new album in November, for a Winter release...But before that, she said 4AD will release a CD with about 4 songs on it. That's all I got... Well I just thought I'd share this with everyone, and I'm so excited to be able to share this with all of you! Take care, Laura

As far as I know, and I can barely spell basic words correctly, this will
be a Canadian only item. Those who want to order it may wanna try the
HMV superstore in Toronto. Their mail order service is pretty good as is
the mail order dealings from Republic Records, whose client's are located
all over the world!

HMV 416 596-0333
Republic 416 703-4080 (ask for Tim or David)

Republic is cool cuz you can order stuff from Tony Morley's (of 4AD's
Alma Road office) Leaf label. A recent item from Leaf that's getting
lots of play on my turntable is the double EP release from Twisted
Science. The "Freedom Of Noise" EP (DOCK5) features nine ambient/
jungle-ish tracks. My faves are "Kola Nutt" and "Clean Your Head".

For more info on the Leaf label, write Tony:

Yes, the m7x is still in good standing with Roadrunner, since that is who
is releasing the new album "Sunburnt" in January. There is an image of
the cover art and a little bit of text by the band (though it doesn't
actually say much about the sound of the album) on the Roadrunner web
pages (sorry, forgot the url). And it confirms the January release time.

I just got you message about the Dead Can Dance tour book. Are you
willing to sell the Pixies poster pack?

The DCD book and both AVAM posters are now sold.
Remaining are the Breeders CD and the 4AD 1994 catalogue.

Also, I know I ask this every few years, but would
anyone be interested in the Pixies Dolittle poster pack?
If you are, you have to convince me I want to sell it,
since it IS kinda cool and I'm not sure I want to part with it.

I would be interested in purchasing the Dead Can Dance tourbook.
Let me know if it is still available. If it is I could get money in
the mail the day you let me know (if you can't tell, I'm very
interested). The Dead Can Dance show was cancelled in Salt Lake
City. :( Thanks!
