 | Throwing Muses Live To Tape Throwing Music will release a limited edition 750 copies of "Live To Tape" - a new 6-song CD recorded by the band live at Stable Sound studio, Portsmouth, RI, on May 20, 1996. The CD was engineered by Steve Rizzo and produced by the band. Tracks are as follows: Shark; Ruthie's Knocking; Night Driving; Serene; Bright Yellow Gun; Bea. | Freeloader: The Next Single Throwing Muses next "official" release will be "Freeloader," featuring the title song taken from the Limbo album. The Freeloader CD will also include three other tracks: If (a Latin Playboys cover); Take (a remix of the live track from The Curse); and Heel Toe (a new TM original). Freeloader will be released January 21st in all Ryko/Throwing Music territories. To be sure you get yours, you can also pre-order from Rykodisc's Order Form .

He's HereOn December 18, 1996 9:36am EDST, Kristin Hersh gave birth to a beautiful 7 lb. 1 oz. baby boy named Wyatt True O'Connell... We both want to thank all of you for your thoughts, support, concern, and understanding, throughout the entire pregnancy.

To all of you...This has been a big year...Lots has happened (and not happened), but through it all, the people who come to this site, and specifically those who participate in the feedback board, have been great to have around... Thanks for your concern, involvement, and love for this band's music...We're truly grateful to have you...Thanks for your thoughts/prayers/chants during the tense days of Kristin's pregnancy... All is well now, Wyatt is healthy as a horse, and you're all officially off duty... Also, thanks for thinking Dave's so damn sexy...We have to sell records *somehow*... In the New Year, we'll do our best to give you all what you want from us (Live dates, some new music, and a brand-spankin' new site, to name a few of the goodies), as well as some suprises...Stick around, and keep in touch...
