Before you can enter the virtual gallery, you'll need the correct hardware and software.
Now that you've spent four hours installing everything, click here to view the VRML gallery.
CAUTION: Whurlplug no longer works with Quickdraw 3D version 1.5. Apple has not released a compatible viewer(!!??). Sorry!
click here to view the 3DMF gallery direct from your browser.(1.1 MB) Microsoft Internet Explorer works best for Quickdraw 3D files. Netscape almost always crashes!
NOTE: Make sure you have enough RAM (at least 10 MB) allocated to your browser before you move on to the Gallery page. Otherwise, your computer may crash.
VRML instructions
VRML format for VRML browser-equipped PC and Macintosh computers. Netscape's Live3D is ideal if you've got TONS of RAM.
This version is MUCH smaller (128k total), and is slightly different in appearance -- it has walls, a ceiling and a floor.
I'm also working on taking advantage of Live3D's sound capabilities -- which don't yet work for Macintosh. :(
Quickdraw 3D instructions
Quickdraw 3D format requires a Macintosh PowerPC's with Quickdraw 3D prior to 1.5 installed. You can learn more about Quickdraw 3D at Apple's Quickdraw 3D web site.
Below is a rough idea of what you'll see in both versions of the gallery -- except the VRML one has a floor and ceiling.
