 I thought it sounded almost exactly like "Lifeforms" (the album) - it
 seemed instantly familiar.  My opinion of that album has been somewhat
 revised - I used to think it was formless and not very good, I now
 think it's formless and very good.  "ISDN" I can barely listen to, it
 sounds very leaden and uninspired by comparison.

Chris Acland died on October 17th.  It was a sad day for everyone who knew
his work with Lush and even sadder for those who knew him.  I am glad to see
that this "news story" has not become tabloidish.  I think that it is great
that some of you would like to send your support to the band, please don't
send flowers or such, if you have the desire to give I will know of a charity
Chris's parents will choose very soon.

For the record, Chris was not leaving the band.  The band has spent most of
the past year touring nonstop and he was interested in taking a bit of a
respite.  As of now Miki, Emma, and Phil have not discussed the band.

It just struck me that you seemed to worry about the band's future before
saying anything about Acland's death. That's all.

Now, to be honest, I wouldn't mind if Lush call it a day. 7 years 4 albums,
that's more than enough for a band!
