hi kids.

i skip many many messages so forgive me if this hasn't already been mentioned...

A friend of mine just got off the phone with someone at the Arcana bookshop
n Santa Monica who got off the phone earlier with vaghun oliver. And It looks li
e the super deluxe version of the This Rimy River book will be delayed for anoth
r month or so (Janurary). Due to production delays.

The arcana guy mentioned that there isn't going to be any new pages, but rat
er, new artwork that will be superimposed over old pages in translucent or metal
ic ink (ehhh). Blah blah blah. hard cover, velvet slip case, and they were even
thinking about putting all in a glass box (ehhh).

He also mentioned that it'll prolly be 300+ dollars. hatchi matchi. that bet
er be really shiny metallic ink!

Possibly of interest to all (or at least some) of those on the list in
the SF Bay Area, Red House Painters are playing an 'unannounced' show
this coming Sunday (day after tomorrow) at the Hotel Utah (4th and
Bryant). In the Utah ad that I saw, there was no mention of Sunday at
all and I've been told that in the ads that were printed, the show was
billed under a pseudonym.

The Painters go on around 10PM and there's no cover...I guess its sort of
a warm-up for the Noe Valley Ministry show the following Friday.

Hope to see some of you there.

Rick
