Subject: Weird problems subscribing

I've tried to help a friend subscribe to this list, and weird things are
happening. Specifically, after sending a 'subscribe 4AD-L' message to the
listserver, he gets a message back from the listserver saying that there is
no list by that name! Can someone please tell me what's going on. If this
is indeed a real problem, then we won't be getting any new people subscribing
to the list until it is fixed!!!

Aye! I, too, am eagerly anticipating the next installment of DCD's lyrics
and originals =)

If I may make a request, I'm very interested in knowing where Black Sun,
from _Aion_ is from and how the lyrics ran originally...

I'm POSITIVE that, in Carolyn's Fingers (Track 3, Bluebell Knoll) Liz
says "Let's dance with knives." I'd swear on it. Everyone I know is
convinced that I've finally listened to One Too Many CT albums and lost
my mind altogether, but these are the same people who can't stop
listening to HNIA and seriously hypothesize that the music is some kind
of meme virus taking over their brains slowly but surely, so I wont
change my opinion.

I throw this to the CT fanatics in the crowd. At 28 seconds into the
song, LISTEN for it. The phrase is repeated after that, but the first one
is clearest.

I will testify that the petition is, indeed, real. I signed it and got a
response back from [email protected] verifying reciept.

Also, I was monitoring the debate about s314 in several newsgroups, and
get a TreeCopy of it through non-electronic channels.

TO REITERATE: S.314, also known as the "Communications Decency Act" or
the "Exon Bill" is aimed at forcing net-providers to censor ALL
electronic material that passes into their domains for "lewd or
laschivious content" or face fines and/or system closure. Since this is a
theoretical and practical impossibility, it will give the govt. rights to
shut down any site as they see fit. As a bonus, the moderators of this
and any other listserver may be held accountable for the material
contained within messages sent via them.

To sign the petition, do the following:

SEND EMAIL TO: [email protected]

No Subject. The text body should contain:

SIGNED

For example, my signature read:

SIGNED [email protected] Chad Robinson YES
